Vigon Presents the Pocono Alliance with $10,000
Vigon recently presented the Pocono Alliance with $10,000 for its Tax to the
Max Educational Program. As part of this program, the
Pocono Alliance offers tuition
assistance to children from financially eligible families wishing to attend
approved Keystone STAR pre-school facilities. This program allows businesses
to invest their tax dollars in their local community and benefit the
community’s children.

see that every individual has the opportunity to live a healthy, safe
and meaningful life. Pocono Alliance is
very grateful for Vigon International’s participation,” said Michael
Tukeva, Executive Director of the Pocono

An (Early) Yipppeee!
Thanksgiving!
In celebration of reaching our October Sales Goal,
we were treated to our traditional sales goal lunch however we decided to
put a different twist on it this month, and we celebrated with a traditional
Thanksgiving meal of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes,
corn, carrots, and of course, Apple and Pumpkin Pie!
Vigon Sends Care Packages
to Our Troops
In an
effort to honor and help our
troops serving overseas in the various branches of the US military, the
Vigon team has been sending care packages to them that contain practical
items that they may need as well as some of their favorite foods from the
US that they may miss. We have set up collection bins in our cafeterias
for the Vigon team members to contribute items to, and since July, the
team has sent out 8 boxes to various locations in Afghanistan.

New QC Lab Reconstruction Moving Along
The QC lab
reconstruction is well underway with the new lab location having been being
completed gutted and the underground
plumbing having been installed. The
next steps in the reconstruction are to level the floors, and begin the wall
construction.

Since 2005, Vigon has been utilizing a web based software program called ISOQuest, to help in the management of various elements of our ISO quality management system. This week, many members of our team participated in comprehensive training sessions for the latest generation of the system that Vigon is migrating to.
